Anyone know where to get a battery for a Palm Pilot?

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could purchase a battery for a Palm IIIc. I know the user is not supposed to be able to replace it but it looks like it would be no problem to replace if I could find a replacement. It is a 3.6V Lithium Ion battery. I don't need one since my Palm is brand new but I was just wondering for future reference.

My guess is that you would probably have the best luck just sending it back to plam to be repaired, they also have advanced RMA. I broke the memo button on my palm V (too many games!) and i had a recondidiioned one from palm 2nd day!

From what I heard if you send it to Palm they charge you $100 for a new battery. That seems like way too much for a battery that small. I know Lithium Ion batteries are expensive but they are usually much bigger.

Try the local electronic store...look for a battery that match the Voltage, mAh, Dimention & Weight. (Sanyo, AGM, Hitachi & a few others manufacture make Li-ion batteries for mobile electronics)
