Anyone know where to buy generic ink for the Epson 777

Pricewatch, haybay, pricegrabber all came up blank. There are plenty of generic replacement ink cartridges availible for the epson printers, all except the 777 it seems. Black ink cartridge T017201

I know that some claim the generic ink will ruin the print heads but I only print text and don't even the high res capabilities so its not a concern. If you do the math
3month supply of 5 generics x 20 savings per cartridge = enough to buy a new printer
 
It's a newer model printer and it takes different cartridges than its predecessors. Give it some time. Until then, your only option is Genuine Epson.

I believe those cartridges have some kind of flash chip on them that records ink usage. I don't know if refilling them is an option.
