On Ati' site they said they started shipping on 6/26, but I can't find them for sale anywhere.

Looks like you did when you bought that 3.0C. Ati MSRP $449 - what a deal considering I don't have a tv for my home office, but I do have an extra Direct TV receiver ready to go. I can't wait. I'll take the other $351 and buy a Sony DRU510A, a heatpipe for the Ati, and a nice dinner. There, now the money's gone.

I don't think it costs 800 bucks, but if I had 800 bucks to spend on video cards, I'd sell my current one and try to get 2 of them then

Allright! I checked the ATI site late last night/early morning and they just said shipping soon. How long do think it will be for New Egg or Googlegear to get these cards? The ATI site did say however to allow 1-3 days for processing and at best another 3 days - (express courier for $20) to get the card. But at least they're finally shipping.

Anyone heard more on this? Purchase direct from ATI for $449, but I'm sure they'll be available cheaper elsewhere? Does anyone know when we can expect to see them made by other companies (ie, PowerColor, Gigabyte, etc.), or not at all?

I would guess the $800 is referring to Canadian dollars but either way it is only $700 Canadian on ATI's website.

Thanks for the link! I couldn't find any anywhere, and the $399 price makes it only about $30 more than the 9800 Pro I was looking at getting, so that $30 seems like a real good investment ... ;)

Just went there to buy and now they want $425 w/5-7 day backorder. Anybody else found any?
