anyone know where the serial number is on a Creative Fatality Gaming headset?/

Need to RMA and I can't find the serial number anywhere. Their website was very helpful:
Serial and model numbers of these products can be located either on the the product itself or on the box that it originally shipped with.

Creative thinks that they can maintain the level of quality like ATI in being a near independent manufacturer... and still having 3rd parties and cloning company partnerships... -in which computer research companies and manufacturing facilities don't communicate well?
I mean why does Creative do so well in the silicon sector and so terribly in the manufacturing of user interface products (market)?
Their headphones are crappy as hell.
And not to mention, why would the Audigy 2 ZS notebook support ASIO and the new X-fi notebook be incredibly terrible with latency over the "supposedly improved" express card slot? I just don't get it anymore. Mobile DJ's look beyond Creative.
