Just to throw out a friendly warning, I flashed my HP 8250i cd-rw which had never made a coaster, and after turning it to a 10x4x32, I could still never burn faster then 4x successfully. After about a weeks time, I couldn;t burn right at all. I bought a new HP from work for dirt cheap, 10x again, and it burns fine. In closing, just be careful, as you often times can't go back.

Be careful about it, it can sometimes cause more problems then it's worth.
