Anyone know where I can snag a NEW original model xbox?

There are plenty of used ones at gamestop for $60 or on craigslist for less than that. I'd really rather avoid ebay if at all possible.

The original Xbox hasn't been in production for a couple of years now. You're not going to find one 'new'.

I don't use my Xbox anymore. It has been soft modded though and comes equipped with XBMC. Willing to part with it for cheap. Let me know.

if you want a new one, check eBay. There are still some sealed ones on there.

Unfortunately eBay is probably going to be your best bet. There may be some obscure sites here or there that have new accessories, but I doubt any place has new Xboxes. If you want something brand spanking new that hasn't been made for at least a couple years, expect to pay a premium for it.

I can get pics tonight.

and I just asked the modchipman (guy who owns modchipman.com) if you can install a remote IR with an xecuter 2.6 and he said yes.

but i will take pics of it actually on the outside of the xbox. it's on the rear of the xbox and i would just reach around the back of it and turn it on/off when i would go on live w/halo 2 or burnout.
