Anyone know where i can get some hemp for necklaces?

No you bongheads, not for that, i need some hemp for making necklaces, and i'm not talkin about that 1 mm thick stuff, i need some good 1/4" thick hemp, or 3/16". I can't seem to find any good places online to get some, can anyone help?
 
Several years back, we did a jewelery project in my HS art class, I found some places online that had it, but I opted to pick it up from a local store. They cater to the "smoker" and have all kinds of neat stuff. Here's their site, I just looked quickly, didn't see hemp cord though. You might try searching Yahoo under necklace making, or similar keywords, you're bound to find something there. I think thats where I saw the ones I mentioned earlier. Dunno any of their addresses off the top of my head, sorry.

I would like to see someone try to get stoned off hemp. The thc content is so low that they would die of smoke inhalation before they ever got any kind of buzz.
 
Hmm...that's a good idea, we do have a store around here like that, they had a back room that was for &quot;21 and older please&quot; and the whole place smelled like pot.....

I'll have to go there and check it out, thanx for the idea
 
Alright, sorry yakko, i know that, i just thought i'd stipulate, cuz everytime i talk to someone about my hemp necklaces, they're always like, &quot;man, i never knew you were such a pothead&quot; and i have to explain it to them,

BTW, they're not jokin either, hehe
