Anyone know where I can get more WinXP themes?

This default one is burning my eyes out and I want something a little flashier than the standard Win2k one.

Yeah, kinda cruel that they only give the user a choice between the Win2k "theme" and the WinXP default theme if you ask me. One you could fall asleep from boredom of and the other BURNS THE DAMN RETINAS!

The WinXP default w/ Silver isn't so bad.

Ah, thanks, the silver is half decent. But that green start button with the silver is nasty...I wish I could make it light blue or something.

Silver? Where do you guys see silver?

Right click on desktop, properties, appearance, color scheme...silver.

Right click on your desktop and pick properties.
Apperance tab

Windows and Buttons:
Windows XP Style

Color Scheme:
Default (blue), Olive Green, or Silver.

Pick silver, hit ok.


Olive Green is quite possibly worse than the Blue (it does have the benefit of matching the start button, but that's just cuz it looks like someone puked on your whole desktop instead of just the one corner), but the Silver is pretty nice except it doesn't change the startmenu button's colour.
