also is there software to transfer the ringtones to it instead of using the bb browser? I havnt hooked up the internet to it yet. saving money ps thx AMD

You can create your own MP3 ringtones and upload them at wapdj.com

The site will host them for free and if you don't mind taking the time to edit your own files and re-encode them. (Anything above 24kbps is overkill for a phone ringtone.)

This is what I do with my Blackberry 8700g, it should work with any phone that can access a WAP site and download/play MP3 files.
