I am getting this 20" SGI monitor- model # GDM-4011P

You all know how cool SGI's stuff looks (granite style, raised textured logo) I couldn't resist. <$200

It's got an sgi connector and an SVGA connector, and I want to use it in Win2K.

I'm not sure if I need any special drivers. (maybe it will auto-detect?)

I looked in the list in the Display properties and saw Several other GDMXXXX monitors by Sony there. Maybe one of those will work?

anyway, I did searches to no avail, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'm open for 'em.

thanks

The plug & play drivers should work OK...

If you want to run the right drivers, i do believe that the insides of the SGI monitors are made by sony, see if you can find a number on the monitor that corresponds with that in the drivers.
You could also try to run some drivers which are for almost the same model as you have, but I don't know how well that would work.

When i tried an SGI monitor on my machine, it showed the picture with a red tint, but this was an old monitor meant for the o2's
