Anyone know where I can get a manual for a HP 82240B Infrared printer?

We have one of these little printers in our shop that our battery tester prints to. It's printing very light right now and I don't have the manual that came with it. I've been trying to find it on HP's website but everytime I put in the model code (82240B) it just says their is "too many results". 😕

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a manual for you. Seeing that this is a thermal printer, you might try checking the printhead to see if there is any residue buildup from the paper causing the light printing. I'd try a bit of 90% rubbing alcohol to carefully clean the printhead in this case. Good luck.

Well I tried emailing HP, this is what I got:

Hello Nathan,

Thank you for contacting HP Total Care.

The 82240B was discontinued some years ago, and information relating
to it is becoming increasingly scarce. Regrettably, we know of no
source for a manual for this printer.

Sorry we couldn't offer more help.

Sincerely,
Larry

I'll try to clean it with some rubbing alcohol and see what that gets me. Thanks for the replies!
