anyone know where I can get a good deal on a laptop dvd burner?

grab an external one...otherwise you can get a brand specific one that pops into the side like your CD rom/DVD reader does currently.

 
Which laptop do you have and which drives are compatible with it? I had to buy some thin drives for some servers and I got them at newegg for like $40.
 
Its a dell inspiron e1505.

I know it takes the slim drive but can't seem to find much selection. I thought about external but 8x seems so slow...
