Probably the best way to find the clock rates of various FX cards is to do a Google search for a review of the card. The online hardware stores and manufacturers usually don?t provide that information.

Juts type in the name of the card --- like ? LeadTek A310Ultra review ? or ? LeadTek A310Ultra test.

The regular FX5600?s are clocked 325/275 although there is some variance to this ? turned up the following ?

LeadTek A310Ultra 350/350
ASUS V9560 5600 325/300

New 5600U is 400/400.

Do you mean reference speeds, or the unique speeds of each OEM's cards?

This is a decent start, but a few things have changed. IIRC: the new (flip-chip) 5600U is 400/400 (the old was 350/350). The 5600 is 325/275. The 5900U 256MB is 450/425 (eVGA's 5900U is 500/450, though). The 5900 is 400/425 (though both GamePC and UKGamer say it's 400/400, Firingsquad says it's 400/425, and UKGamer later shows it to be 400/425).

Edit: Those 5900 speeds are tricky.

fx5200 250 core, 400 ram (be careful these come in 64bit 4 chips, or 128bit 8 chip, some have 440 or 500 ram i.e. gainward and prolink)

fx 5600 non ultra 325 core , 550 ram (i think most of the 256mb boards have 500 mhz ram though)

fx 5600 original ultra 350 core, 700 ram

fx 5600 ultra new revision 400 core 800 ram

fx 5800 and quadro fx 2000 400 core 800 ram

fx 5800 ultra 500 core 1000 ram

quadro fx 1000 300 core 600 ram

fx 5900 400 core 800 ram i believe

fx 5900 ultra 450 core 850 ram

Hans, I'm fairly sure the FX 5600 is 325/275 (550), the FX 5900 is 400/425 (though there is no official nVidia spec), and the FX 5900U is 450/425 (this is an official nVidia spec).

Prolink also seems to be OC'ing their cards. Their 5200 is 275/500 rather than 250/400, and their 256MB FX 5600 is 350/300 rather than 325/250.

thanks for the correction . with those clocks. i am no wondering why anyone would buy a 5900 ultra over a 5900 for a mere 50mhz more cpu and no ram clock increase.

then again i'd probably wonder why anyone would spend $400+ on a card.

Well, the Ultra has an extra 128MB RAM, but it's still debatable if that's worth it. A $400 128MB 5900 is decent competition for a $400 128MB 9800P, though.

i have a gainward 5200 regular, the ram is clocked at 560mhz default. No wonder it wouldn't overclock much already :p

Also anyone know where to find Geforce2/3 clocks?
