Anyone know where I can find a registered version of the Pit BBS game to play?

I still remember it cost like 20 or 25 bucks american to register the game....

and me being as young as i was back then, was completely naive and the author of the game completely screwed me over

"Bad news about the game is it is only a demo. There do not seem to be any cracks available and the author stopped replying to people years ago. You can only get up to level 8. I too enjoyed the game back in the day. How sad."

That sucks. I remember being fairly high level in college ~12 years ago, but never getting to the point of challenging the Gods and stuff.

After your first thread, I looked all through the newsgroups and couldn't find a registered version. You can get a normal guy using unregistered and give him "godly" weapons + armor to take on the gods but once you beat a few you will be out of level so you lose him when you quit. I played it for a bit. I think it would be fun if someone could set up a telnet system for us to play this on. I'd go for it.
