FWIW : http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/ - I don't think they claim to be pinpoint accurate, but interesting to know for numbers.
I want a 13" but it kinda sucks it didn't get upgraded to the i3 though I guess there was some reason.
So would it be better to wait until then? Do prices of current MacBooks go down when the new version comes out or do the old ones just disappear? Sorry im just recently an applelover and getting up to speed 🙂 looking to buy one in the next 6 months.
MBP and MB will not be refreshed until Sandy Bridge comes out early 2011.
The refresh with the Core i5/i7 based processors just came out less than 5 months ago. There is no reason to think that Apple would refresh this fast - there is nothing better to refresh to.
Like others have said Sandy Bridge is the next logical choice for a refresh - get the laptop now unless you plan on waiting another 4-6 months.
If you read it, it is not an updated design or processor. They will merely add a 2.8 Ghz Core i7 as opposed to a 2.66 Ghz Core i7. It is just an additional option and one that probably isn't money well spent when considered that it is a mere 140 Mhz faster than the current Core i7.
