Hi

guys anyone know whats the max supported CPU by a Tyan S2567 ? also will it run with a single CPU ?

by the way I currently have a 933mhz P3 on it, will a 1.13 or something similar even make a difference ? Im generally wondering if they are built better or something :)

Thank you
Dan

If you want to run a dual S370 board with a single processor, you're going to need a CPU dummy for termination purposes. These are usually included with the mainboards.

Hi

sorry, instinct said motherboard description, this would probably be the only manufacturer I know of that will post supported CPUs in a different part of the site

so I'll need a socket370 terminator ? I know it was required for slot1s but I heard someone say you dont need it on the newer ones + Ive never seen a s370 terminator

Thanks
