Anyone know what's going on in the Germany/USA Bball game

anyone else watching?

i just turned it on now.....should be a good one. even though it's only exhibition, Team USA needs to prove to themselves and everyone else that they can play as a team.

halftime spotlight on Larry Brown as a teacher.

amazing. this guy is truly a coach's coach. always teaching, always conducting. Boozer's quote was right on, "Good practice....a lot of learning".

The US is playing with a lot more energy today.

did you watch the first half? i missed it until the last few baskets in the half. how's Team USA playing?

Do you think Larry Brown should've benched LeBron, Iverson, and Stoudemire for being 5 minutes late to the meeting before their first game?

The team has so little experience playing together as it is, I think LB hurt the team more than helped it by doing that.

Wish I had TV so I could be watching right now.

Yup. They are making crisper passes and moving the ball more, but still too many turnovers on offense. The defense is getting better, more rotation, but Germany doesn't have the outside shooters that Italy did. The refs are horrible, but they are not favoring either team.

larry brown sent the message that these olympics were not to be taken lightly, as shown in the game against Italy.

Melo has 5

i think Tim is leading....not sure how many though.

Germany just tied the score!

51-51

Anyone else think this team would be a lot better with Prince and Redd replacing Marbury and Marion?

TheBDB.....Team USA really needs some defense and rebounding. With Duncan as their only big guy (and Okafor), they are in deep trouble if Duncan gets hurt or into foul trouble.

Hamilton would have been really good as a mid-range shooter to break the zone. Michael Redd too.

Prince would have been good defensively, imo.

Dirk has 24 pts.

Team USA continues to play 1-1 instead of moving the ball around.

classic way to break the zone is to move the ball.....
