anyone know whats going on at cingular?

as of 8:30 cannot make or recieve calls. even 611 and 911 won't work. not just my phone, my neighbors is dead too.

this is in Billerica Ma (25 miles NW of boston)

I hate cingular. I loved ATT Wireless, and when cingular bought them, I almost cried. I just can't wait till my contract is up so i can go to the next piece of crap carrier.

i'm not sure if this is true or not, but I was told that cingular gave up or sold all their old towers to tmobile and they are now using the att gsm towers now. i'm not sure how this is for all areas, but this is what's happening in california. Tons of people I work with are losing signal strength. Once again, like i said earier, i'm not 100% sure about this story, maybe someone who knows more will chime in.
