Ahh good old windows acting up again. You should probably reinstall drivers or windows entirely, because the annoying VxD (system driver files) are corrupted, or have a violation error of some sort. Or I'm an idiot?
if you are using windows 95 or 98 you can use "SFC" on the run dialog box and repair your currupt Vxd files.
You must have the cab file or the disk and point the file to C:\windows\system....this shoud work
1. go to http://search.support.microsoft.com/kb/c.asp
2. select all microsoft products
3. type in Q137335 in question box.
4. select Q137335 from resulting list
5. folowing instruction to identify problem.
6. reinstall the offending software if possible.
what does the rest of the screen say? the vxd causing me problems was au330something. so i reinstalled my aureal sound drivers and then didn't have anymore problems.
