We're trying to figure out what type he is. The Humane Society just said "shepherd mix" and we're trying to figure out wtf else he might be (not that it's important, just wondering). Thinking maybe a german shepherd/golden retreiver?

He's just a puppy, maybe 5-6mo right now.

Interesting looking mutt. :thumbsup: I would say it has some Lab or other retreiver in it and possibly some sort of cattle dog in the mix.

I got my mutt from the Humane society too last summer and she's been the coolest dog ever. 🙂 It's a good deal to get one from them... keeps older dogs from being put down and it's pretty reasonably priced considering all they do(spay/shots/etc).
 
Shepherd/ Golden Lab mix Not so sure if it's a pure combo, but that's what stood out to me. Name him Cujo?

Heh. His name is Echo (that was his name when we picked him on Friday).

We're huge lost fans, so we're going with Mr. Echo (we know the spelling is Eko, but whatever). Our other dog, Neeko, is a Belgian Shepherd/Border Collie mix. :heart: shepherds.
 
I would agree with the shepherd lab mix, as that is nearly exactly what my dog looks like and that is what the vet told me.
 
Definately a mix. Looks like it might have a bit of rottweiler in it, maybe some German Shepherd, possibly lab as well, and some kind of medium size dog. A mix between a mutt and a mutt no doubt. I think they call these fugly.
