Anyone know what this XP error means....

I just reinstalled XP twice and this error pops up after the loading screen. I had to turn off autoreboot for the BSOD to pop up and stay.

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The session manager initilization system process terminiated unexpectedly with a status oxc000026c (0x0000, 0x0000)

SYSTEM HAS BEEN SHUTDOWN

Funny thing is that it won't always pop up when starting, sometime it will go into XP and everything is fine till you restart the computer for something. I don't get it. Nothing unusual about the system in hardware ways. XP detected everything and is using its drivers.

I used www.Google.com with your Stop message and I found a lot of hits. I then added XP and got a manageable number. If you have a Sound Blaster card, once of Creative's site had a lot of hits.

I would first do the Start/Windows Update and then check your vendor sites for later drivers on your sound card, video card, etc. Cnet's www.download.com Software Updates for both programs and security update would be good to run. (I find less problems if I reboot my machine after every program update.)

Good luck! Sorry I can't be more specific.
