What vshah said,

It represents the duality of science and religion as they interact in the 21st century and how it impacted the postwar economic revival of ww1 germany and the expansion of women's rights in Uganda.

Should be I be more scared that someone created something to mean that or that you knew that?

I don't know the exact meaning of it per se but I know it has to do with equal rights for gay people or something. I hate to comment for fear of not using the right words but that's about the long and the short of it.

My roommate's dad has the fullsize version hanging on the wall above the fireplace... No doubt it cost a pretty penny. He's a plastic surgeon, so I guess he can afford that kind of thing...

I don't know if I'd ask too many questions...

Wow. Best thread ever. First we have a symbol many have never seen, myself included. Then we have an awesome level of deception that people are actually buying. Finally, the real answr by myusername which I found hillarious because they call themselves the Human Rights Campaign. Totally misleading since it's a gay and lesbian foundation. That's like the NRA calling themselves the American Constitutional Organzation. Sure, gun ownership is part of the Constitution but so is voting and freedom of speech and etc etc.

It's secret code for "I'm Gay" - the rainbow is just too mainstream. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the metros start buying rainbow bumber stickers as a fashion accesory for their car...
