Anyone know what document this is? [pic]

well I can see it's from august 21, 1925! that's about it though, last time I took German I was in seventh grade, then I took up the EASIER language of spanish😛

Well, the filename means: NSDAP (Nazi Party, National Socialist German Workers Party) gruendung (establishment).

In 1925, Hitler seized leadership of a reorganized and newly-legalized National Socialist German Workers' Party.

Sounds like it's related to that.

Hm... as bad as I normally am at reading german, the handwriting makes it even harder.
Best I can get out of it is something about german nationalists working in Munich, and talks about something that's going to happen in January 1926. Not real helpful, eh? 😛

It's not easy reading the handwriting, but i'll try...:
" Protocol of the establishing
At a meeting, in the meeting room of the NSDAP [An address], it was decided that the NSDAP was founded [It actually says, needed tobe established, maybe thats just a german way of saying something. I'm not german.] The [can't read it, but something like "creation was witnessed by 7 persons," or something similar] 2 paragraph

Until a final leadership has been chosen, which it will be at the first official meeting that will happen before January 1926, the final leadership was uniformly agreed:

Leader: Mister Adolph Hitler [adress]
[person who collects money]: Mister Franz [Kaver?]
[i think it says notary]: Mister Herrman Schneider

Munich 21. August 1925

One my interns just read it to me...Hitler is just basically establishing himself as one of the founding members of the NSDAP party...that's the basic gist I think.

Simple protocal of a meeting that took place.

With Adolf's signature it has some value, but I think items of Nazi propoganda are illegal to sell.

It's the foundation of the DNSAP, it's not propaganda, every foundation, political or not, has one of those. Although this certain political party is one of thee more known parties!

Nice job! Sounds good enough to me...

😀

needed tobe established
it has been determined
to establish the National Socialistic German Workers Union seated in Munich.

Until a final regulation by the general convention has been made the executive committee has unanimously elected as follows:

President: Mister Adolf Hitler, Author
Treasurer: Mister Franz Xaver Schwarz, Chief Administration Officer ret.
Secretary: Herr Herrmann Schneider, teacher

Munich, 21st of August 1925

I hope I could help. 😀

BTW a very good English/German dictionary can be found here

I did a search and found the following:

1. It's the ORIGINAL founding charter of the NSDAP
2. The handwriting is entirely by Hitler
3. It was found in the US in March this year
4. Nobody knew it existed until then
