Anyone know what countertop material this article is about?

What started as cabinet refacing soon became new face panel appliances as well. Soon after that, add-on floors came into vogue with edges that snap together and "float" above existing kitchen floors. Recently, resurfacing existing countertops with ceramic tile installed right over old plastic laminates became popular.

Now, a new technique resurfaces existing counters with gleaming granite in just days. The new material is 95 percent granite, ground and blended with polymer resin, which is formed into large slabs only one-quarter-inch thick which is then installed right over existing counters for a "real granite" look.

It's heat-, stain- and scratch-resistant and never needs sealing. And (unlike real granite) it carries a 10-year warranty too. Check it out.
