I'm looking to buy some new speakers for my computer, and I probably won't have any time to do some listning comparasions, as I will only be in the U.S for two weeks. So what I am basically asking is what speakers would you reccomend? I'm looking for either 4.1 or 5.1 with or without a dolby digital decoder.

The two speakers I've seen that look pretty good in this price range are the Klipsch Promedia 4.1 and the Midiland 7100 Plus. Anyone heard them both? Which is better in terms of quality? I should say that I use my computer for almost everything, as I live in Israel where the Home Theater stuff costs a lot of money (and I'm only 18 ). So I watch DVDs, listen to music and play games on the computer, so a speaker that has good quality on all of them is important. So please help me know which speakers to get to replace my damn Cambridge FourPointSurround 1000s!

I also saw that the Midiland 8200s are in the <300$ range. Anyone heard them? How do they sound?
I have a 300$ limit. I'm thinking that I'll either get the Klipsch 4.1s or the Midiland 8200s, or I'll get the Midiland 7100s and replace my sound card (SBLive Value) with either the Hercules Game Theater XP or the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. What would you guys reccomend?

if you want cheap, look into "monsoon"
they're freaking amazing speakers, really really good quality, and nicely priced
really thin- they're practically flat panels.

The only way to determine which speakers are for YOU is to listen to them.
Otherwise--> Klipsch!
