I've found it in a few of my "My Documents" subdirectories... they're all called .Bpib, that's all. They're not detected by Norton as a virus and I've never put them there myself. Any idea where they came from or what they do? By inspecting their content with notepad, I've found they have certain filenames in between what seems to be compiled code.
Can someone help me identify these files? Are they a trace of spyware?
