Anyone know this? (Xbox Question)

Am just curious at what the Xbox rips CD songs to......I know they rip them in .wma format but have no clue what bitrate they are at.

My guess (pulling this # out of my ass) is 192 kbps. The Xbox only has 8 GB of space, so the bitrate couldn't be too high or it would fill up before you'd know it.

Still waiting for someone to figure out the key to the Xbox HD format, so we can put 40+ GB hard drives in there.

If is sounds good when you play it back, who really cares what bitrate it is? You're not going to be burning a disc from your XBOX ripped songs...

if its 64 its probably in ms's format, not mp3. i kinda doubt its 64.

well the best reason they would have for using their own format.. mp3 royalties that fraunhoffer company(i can't spell)
