Using it at home, all works great, only problem is when i reboot and desktop is finally all loaded, i cannot connect to internet untill i click the little monitors down in the corner and click "repair" then it functions fine till next reboot. Running XP Pro. Be gentle, i am very new to routers. Just got DSL a week ago.so all the tech lingo is foreign. I dont know if routers at fault or windows. All i have been able to determine that is after a reboot, there is no "default gateway" listed using IPCONFIG.

So there is no default gateway listed but there is an IP address? In the web setup some routers have an option that changes the router's working mode between gateway and router. This should be on gateway.

yes, probaby so, however this being my first dsl/router setup, i am still trying to learn what all it does, and settings, etc. Ill look and see in the router setup but this thing has so many settings on it. I read the street price for this router is still around 500.00 and when it came out about 700.00 It was given to me from a small company that upgraded. real nice, probably more than i need, but it was free so.... thanks for the input
