Anyone know the name of a nice beach in Seattle?

Um... Seattle's pretty far from the pacific ocean... around 75-100 miles.

But, the most famous/well-known one in Seattle is probably Alki.

Ocean Shores is your best bet if you want a real beach. It's about 130 miles southwest of Seattle.

Alki is like 10 miles away from downtown, not 75

Hey, here's a funny Ocean Shores story...

A bunch of my friends took a trip down there during the summer and one of the cars got separated. Well, they somehow ended up all the way down along the oregon coast, and finally stopped to ask for directions...

my friend: Sorry to bother you, but how do you get to ocean shores from here?
gas station dude: *Waves his arms along the oregon coast* But EVERYWHERE is ocean shores.

I don't believe my friends ever made it to Ocean Shores that trip.

BTW, isn't there a big neo-nazi gang based in Ocean Shores?

Washington has problem's in the strangest area. During one of our family trips to eastern washington, I learned about the "out-of-control" gang problem in Wenatchee... Wenatchee?!?!?!
