Certain ATM's will let you take out up to $500.00.

I can't say for sure which ones, because I live in Hawaii and we have a few that let you take out $500.00.

But its out there.

you can get the limit set at some banks. most of them default to $300 but you can get it increased.

It really depends on your bank. The most common number I've seen is $1000, although student accounts usually have less.

There is no common number. It depends on the bank, and the state. In Indiana Bank One would let you take out $400 a day, or use up to $1,000 on your one card per day. In Texas I haven't reached my max ever, so I don't know what the amount is.

I used to work for Wells Fargo..
it really depends on banks.. different banks has different limits on the atm cards... however I believe you can request to have your limits increase.. I did I have it increase from 300 to $1000 but you must have a good standing on your account or else even if you request it they won't increase it
