Anyone know the main difference between 32 and 64 bit version of Potplayer?

I can't even find a link on the main site (see link below) to the 64 bit version. I can only find it on Videohelp.com, Afterdawn.com, Softpedia, etc. Other than the obvious reason that it should handle memory better for Windows 64, why install the 64 bit version rather than the 32 bit version? The exe setup file for the 32 bit version is larger and I can't seem to find much on the net. Doom9 took down it's detailed thread regarding Potplayer regarding some open source issues.

Even the size of the setup file on the Daum.net main page is different than the setup files on all the general freeware download sites.

One is compiled targeting 32 bits and the other is compiled using 64 bit. Stick with whatever the main site kicks out and avoid the other places, they often modify the installers to add some malware. You don't need a 64 bit video player yet they don't consume enough memory or really benefit all that much from the additional registers.
