I am wondering because I may help my boss upgrade his computer. I think that the highest it can support is the celeron 533j ppga, because i dont't think the lx chipset can support 1.5v of fcpga's and it is limited to 66mhz bus. If anyone could give me more insight into this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure. Think it depends on the mobo and the bios. If I remember the Shuttle 637A I used to have supports all the 66MHz bus celeries. But then again its one of the few nonAbit boards that has a soft CPU detection in the bios.

I've put together several computers using the SOYO SY6KL [LX] and they can go 533mhz. Some LX boards only go to 466 if I remember correctly.

I'm running my Intel AL440LX with a Cel533 and it works fine.

According to the link (but it is just Dell Mobo - but they should be the same if you flashed the BIOS to IntelP14) below it is possible to put in a cel667 if you want (but you get problems if you have Nvidia-cards...)
