Anyone know the exact dimensions of a standard I/O plate?

I've got some old Gateway towers in the garage and I really don't feel like buying a new case just because new motherboards won't fit. Does anyone know of the measurements so that I can take a saw to them?

Um.... tape measure?

That'd be nice if I had an I/O plate to measure...

Since you don't, what difference does it make how big they are? You going to cut a hole so you can fit a nonexistant I/O plate in it?

Use your imagination.

I'm trying to figure this out so that I can cut the hole ahead of time, so that when my new motherboard arrives (WITH THE I/O PLATE) I can just pop it in and be done.
