Anyone know the email IP address(s) for Earthlink.net?

With my new Gateway/router in place... I cannot use the usual POP3 (email.earthlink.net), address.
I need to have the actual POP3 and SMTP IP address(s).

do a traceroute on the name, and you will get the IP kicked back to you.

when I handled support for a partnership with earthlink, the server was mail.earthlink.net 207.217.120.207 email.earthlink.net is unresolvable. Try mail.earthlink.net instead, and you might be able to resolve your problem

I believe the POP for earthlinks mail.earthlink.net and not email.earthlink.net. That might have been your problem as The Dancing Peacock pointed out.

Use nslookup to find out IP addresses from names.

nslookup email.earthlink.net or whatever address you want
