i know the switches are different and the color. besides that anything?

Are they mechanical? Maybe switch type?

Try to find a manufacturers site. If you can't, that's a bad sign.

It looks like the HERO keyboards use Kailh switches instead of Cherries, but it's hard to find definitive information about it.
