Trying to find the difference between the Enermax EG465AX-VE (FCA) and the EG465P-VE (FCA). Anyone know what the difference between the AX and the P models? Thanks...

The AX series seems to be called the: Active PFC series
and the P series seems to be called the: Fan Speed Adjustable series

But I can't find what PFC means or what the difference is...

They have the same stats, the only difference that I see is that the ax doesn't have FM (Fan Speed Monitoring) Function.

Thanks for the responses, but I don't think that's it. Why is the one without the Fan monitoring cost like $35 more?

Are those prices for the regular ax or for the ax (g)(w)
the newer ones the (g)(w) have slightly different features and a different setup that raises the cost
such as dual fan temp adjustments, slightly different wire arrangements, and a few other new features.
And the prices from what I see is only a few bucks, I am looking on neweggs website.

The prices aren't always about the p or ax, it is sometimes about the fca, pca, fm, etc.

PC is for Power Conditioning, This power supply is really for areas where the incoming power fluctuates a great deal. It is similar to a APC or Tripp Lite line conditioner. Otherwise the power supplies are the same.
