I thought it was by Ringo Starr or George Harrison but I can't seem to find what it is called.

Part of the lyrics are(approximately):

I got a woman she calls love hate

(its a male singer, a lot of guitar, but is soft song)

I remember an oldies song that I've only heard once. It was something about getting "wupped by the ugly stick" Does anybody remember that song?

I googled over 40 times with different combos of the lyrics.

How the heck did you do that? Did you already know it was Clapton?

My next guess was gonna be Leonard Cohen.

I don't know, I just googled "I got a woman" she calls love hate lyrics
Also I used www.allmusic.com after I found a song title.



I noticed google sometimes gives people different results sometimes.
