Anyone know Sam's club's return policy on TV's?

My dad bought an LCD tv from sam's club last january and it recently started messing up really bad.
He has a copy of the reciept, and oddly enough, the box and manual.
He's tried calling tech support and got the runaround.
Do you think Sam's club will take it back for credit?

Sam's club has a lifetime return policy....not exactly sure if it applies to TVs...but I believe it applies to everything.

I went with my dad to Sam's to return the TV. He actually misplaced the receipt.
The woman at customer service looked it up on the computer, found the transaction and gave us credit. No questions asked.
When they say 100% satisfaction guranteed, i guess they really mean it!

Lets just hope that people abusing the policy doesn't result in them changing it to 90 days on TV's like Costco did ... not to imply that the OP's dad was abusing it btw as it seems like he had a legit reason to return his!
