I have the loan of a Roland Boss BR1180CD digital audio recorder for a while. I've downloaded the manual and run up against something that is probably in there but I can't find it. Anyone know of a forum like AnandTech, but for digital recording? I want to record our church services that last like 90 minutes, and that's too much to then copy off the hard drive and put onto a CD, with the CD limit. I figured it must be possible to edit the track into 2 pieces - it's recording digitally onto a hard drive, this is the world of digital, right? - and write 2 CD's but I'm just stumped on how to do it. I COULD just stop the recording and start a second somewhere in the middle of the meetings, but it's not the kind of event that I can raise my hand and shout "HOLD IT, gotta start a second track" I'm supposed to be unobtrusively out of sight.
