Anyone know of a good Inventory, Invoice, and Billing software that can be used on a network of multiple computers? We have looked at one for work and they want $10,000 and $80 a month update a maintenance charge. ....this is of course for use on 10 networked computers.

Yeah, QuickBooks. I think it might be the pro version for networks. The inventory aspect wasn't that good if you are manufacturing. That is, you take 40 items and assemble them into a single product. When you book the sale of the single product no way to make program reduce inventory for each of the 40 items. But that two years ago. They may have changed it. Anyway, if ur not doing that type of manufacturing, just regular inventory it's great.

If you are doing that type of manufacturing, I'd still check with QB to see if they/ve added a manufacturing inventory module.

Anyway it's fairly cheap and you can check it out for 30 days free.

BTW, I don't work for them. It's just that I'm a CPA and have a lot of clients who use QuickBooks (not Quicken)

This would be for sale of Part and repair of lawn mowers. All mowers are pre-built if bought new of course. All parts are separate from whole equipment.

Unfortunately Simply Accounting supports up to 6 users accessing the data at the same time.... The Boss wants for all 10 or maybe even MORE computers to be able to access the inventory at the same time.
