Anyone know of good Actuary exam study guides?

I plan on taking my first one next May, and want to start preparing for it now. What would my best resources be to start preparing?

i'm taking my second exam next wednesday 🙁
i've been using the BPP training manuals to prepare for this one. so far i think they're great; covers all the topics in the syllabus and gets to the point. you can learn more about BPP and download the first part of their manual from their website at BPP

if you think your level of calculus and probability is good enough, i would recommend to study from your textbooks. they have recommended readings on the SOA website in case you're wondering. for the first exam i used the probability book by ross, an old multivariable calculus book for reference, and worked out as many practice exams as i could.

theres a 'decent' discussion board you can go for other people's opinions on study manuals. the site is at click me

All of the students that graduate from CWU's actuarial science program have jobs waiting for them right out of school. So yeah, shouldn't be too hard to get a job. 🙂
