Anyone know of "clean" 3-4 pin fan adaptors for a see-thru case window setup?

With a see thru window...I'd like to keep the "wire count" down for asthetic reasons;-)

Would it be cleaner to buy a fan controller...I don't know much about the fan controllers but perhaps I wouldn't need the 3-4 pin adaptors to run my fans?

SVC.com is blowing out the CoolerMaster Aerogate 1 for $5. and it can deal with up to 4 fans at up to 18W each. And there are a couple of posts here somewhere about modding it so you can lock in the LED color on it (or off if you want) - as it comes, you have to set the color each time you turn your PC on unless you like red... And I'm doing a mod on that mod so I can choose what I want by a switch rather than hard wiring one or another.
. And I had a fan here that has a 4 pin pass-thru connector on it that has female on one end and a male on the other end (sort of like one-piece but it does come apart in the middle) and the fan wires come out the middle - that is much cleaner than having two separate male and female connectors with a chunk of wires between them. But I haven't seen such on a 4 to 3 adapter.
. Check the usual sites like SVC, jab-tech, frozenCPU, etc. for several takes on adapters.

Zepper,

The Aerogate 1 may just do the trick for me🙂 The photos of the unit indicate 3-pin connectors (male) which means fans with 3 pin female plugs will plug right into the Aerogate 1 which eliminates the need for any 3 pin to 4-pin molex connectors.

Sooooo....It'll eliminate all the extra wires AND be able to control the speed of 4 fans.

Plus the red LEDs will fit into my color scheme!

Thanks a TON!
