Anyone know of anywhere to get performance parts for 2006 Buick Lacrosse?

I have a 2006 Buick Lacrosse CXS, that is with a 3.6L DOHC. I have been looking for performance parts for it (anything really, just browsing for upgrades to be made) but I have not been able to find anything. It seems as though the car is 'sporty enough' to warrant some aftermarket parts.

Have you checked Mertylsperformanceparts.com? Kidding, I think your going to be SOL for any performance parts for a Lacrosse. Your best bet would be if the engine is available in a Chevy and if it's something that is dependent on body layout like some intakes or any catback, hope that it would work on the Buick - which is pretty unlikely unless the cars share the same chassis. I believe Impala's used a 3.5L V6 at that time so again, SOL.

That said, a dry nitrous kit is pretty universal.

Buick? Sporty? Sorry, the last sporty Buick was made in the 80's and called the GNX. Nothing noteworthy since.

People rice up 110hp xB's and Civics and I'm sure his car is much faster and sportier than those. Anyone is free to mod whatever car they want.

And that wasn't actually sporty but just a dressed up mommy cruiser that was made fast. It still had a crap interior and handled like mush.

You drive a car whose average buyer age is in almost 70, the only thing you'll be able to find are handicap tag holders and extra padding for seats to prevent hip bone damage.

True. However, performance parts and such actually exist for Civics (turbos, engine swaps, etc). It wouldn't be easy to mod the Buick only because there's really nothing out there...aside from generic nitrous kits.

True. However, it was ridiculously fast so its at least somewhat sporty;) Notice I didn't call it a sports car.

I heard that if you get 6 stick on portholes for the fender it will double the horsepower.

If you like your car, enjoy it for what it is. IMO it's not really a platform that's amenable to modification, nor will it ever be truly sporty.

Whats wrong with having a Buick have some more kick to it when you have slushbox Mercedes boats running around with 500+ HP? Some of those old man cruiseliners aren't exactly sporty either.

The car may be a Buick, but the engine has a nice kick, they use it in the Cadillac CTS as well. I was unable to find anything on my own.. just looking for possibilities. I think the new 2010 Lacrosse Supercharged will be a pretty cool car, may reinvigorate the brand a bit.

Being 20 and owning 'an old man car' has its perks though, bought a top-of-the line semi-luxurious car for 30% of its original price at 3 years old :D

Cars like that are better off being converted into SLABs, not anything sporty.

I agree, though I wouldn't even go that far. Just put some swangas on there and call it a day.

You know what I tried finding a single tricked out Lacrosse... the only one I could find is a guy who put 22in chrome rims on his. That's it.

Its really unfortunate, they are actually very cool cars :)

Any idea for a free wiring diagram... and recommendations for a sub?
