I need to get a new power supply quick. I probably need something around 400w. Does anyone know of any good deals going on right now?

I recommend this 350w Fortron from Newegg. I have the 300w and it's very quiet. $44 shipped and 350 solid watts should be way more than you need unless you're running more than 6 hard drives and 2 cpus.

Why is it that most (most!) people want to skimp on their power supply? Spend twice what you think is a good price. Recommendations: Vantec (van-520a). Enermax and Antec make some good stuff too. Good luck.

i feel a good deal is the Antec Lanboy case w/ power supply...that is what i just got.....I picked one up for $85. You get a 350w Antec Power Supply, Nice Aluminum Case, and Carrying Straps. Power Supply alone is $65 at Compusa

At the risk of being bashed for recommending a cheap power supply, I will point out this Real PC Power 450W power supply at 3btech.net for $22 shipped. They used to sell these at Micro Center. I have one and it is working great for me with an overclocked P4 2.4C, 2-disk RAID array, CD-RW, DVD, lighting, etc. The full specifications are laid out here and here.

get the fortron! they are raving about it over at the silentpc forum, which means that baby is QUIET. I don't know how much you guys value silence but this one is great.
