I'm looking for a good quality amp to run the speakers in my car - at least 80w x 4 RMS. I'm run into ones that were of lower wattage, but I'd rather be a little higher. Anyone know of any? :)

I have a McIntosh MC431, 100watts x 4. If you are looking for high end amp, this is IT! ;)

I guess you weren't kidding when you said not cheap :p Sh!t! The 4 channer sells for the lower price of $359 on Froogle :Q

That might be a little out of my price range, I'm looking for something around 200 bucks ;) I guess I should have stated that in my original post.

Stay away from Best Buy.

Precision Power are nice. Phoenix (sp?) Gold are nice too.

Anyone have any experience with Boss amps? A friend of mine has one pushing her sub, and she's never had a problem with it. What do you guys think about them?

Look at IKESOUND they've got the best prices I've seen. Takes like a week before they ship, but that's the price you pay with the best deals (except newegg!).

POS

You're looking at spending at least $200 on a decent 80x4 that sounds good and actually puts out its rated power. It should be at least 1-1/2 feet long too.
