Anyone know of a youtube app that just downloads the audio?

Probably going to give up my unlimited data once ATT comes out with family shared data plans. The only thing that i really use mobile data for that worries me is my youtube use while driving to play songs. If im driving ill have someone use my phone to pick songs from youtbe and stream in HD to listen to.

Besides this i dont use mobile data that much since im always connected to wifi, but if there were an app out there that didnt even bother streaming the video part i would be golden.

Anyone know of a solution for me?

lots of websites will do it for you and present you with an mp3 to download, not sure of an app though. also not sure if streaming just the audio is possible.

just downloaded. sadly many videos are not available on mobile. including many vevo channels

Weird... Whenever I get that mobile version not available error, I just click the down arrow and it downloads anyway.

Tubemate should still work. Also it's available in Amazon's Appstore too.
