Anyone know of a way to mod a PS2....?

I would like to mod a PS2, but I do not have any chips or anything.

I want to know if there is a software mod I could use and add a hard drive to it?

Thanks.

I've heard of some DVD/CD for the PS2........

aside from swap magic and a case change there isn't one. however on the older version of the ps2, there was this USB module that only has 1 wire to solder that works perfect.

Swap Magic, thats a disk or something that required you to swap everytime you played something, right?

Yeah I remember that USB thing with wire soldering.

HDDLoader is just used for hard drive swapping on an already modded ps2?

Thanks.

HDLoader requires a PS2 network adaptor, a hard drive, and the software. You can buy an offical pressed version that works without a modchip.
