Anyone know of a video editor that doesn't require re-encoding.

I want to edit a few video clips but it seems that all the editors I have require you to re-encode the video, and thus, reduce it's quality. Does anyone know of an editor that will save the clipped video in the same quality as the source?

What are you starting with (i.e. MPG, AVI, DIVX, XVID)?
