My software firewall, Zone Alarm Pro, stops mine. ZAP has a bunch of neat features:

- Program based firewall (internet allow/deny access/permissions assigned to each program)
- Access requests (if a program has not access the net before, but now wants to, a ZA pop up asks you for permission, and tells you what is trying to send traffic out of your computer) [this is good for bots/viruses trying to spread themselves]
- Blocks certain popups by refusing to let them load. (You can customize parameters). Doesn't get em all, but gets more than 75%.

Mozilla is pretty good. You can "train" it to not open popups from some sources. However, it is not perfect, but I am very happy with it.
P.S. Use version 7.01 of Netscape of later, in 7.0 it is not working

please......please.... j/k

I have used em all. Zero Poup worked pretty good, but it had some problems w/ it's window hook mechanism b/c sometimes it's cpu usuage would shoot up to 99%.

PopupStopper Free worked fairly well, but some pop behinds for some reason still get through.

Adsgone works fairly well.......

but the best one I've come into use w/ was popupcop and popupstopperpro.

It's a shame zero popup doesn't work a little less buggier b/c it was really great at stopping em.
