Anyone know of a nic that can be hard flashed to a MAC?

Not software based mac swapping. I'm talking hardware flashed to C0:FF:EE:EE on hardware init if i want.

Say if i want to PXE boot or whatever - the real hardware mac that if i queried the card using all of its api - it would expose only that mac.

iirc the old ne2000 stored them in eprom but i'm thinking PCI-express.

Any guru's know the know?

prefer a cheap gigabit model. i have a psop/tsop/32-plcc eprom programmer at my disposal.

I almost wondered if the KILR might be a model but it is expensive.
